Technology Notification –
Information Technology will be upgrading GroupWise on Friday, April 28th beginning at 5:00 PM with service being restored Saturday, April 29th in the morning. Several new features will be released, however the user interface is not anticipated to change.
Impacted Services, each will be unavailable during the outage window:
- Desktop client
- Mobile access (GWMC)
- Web access (mail.grcc.edu)
LDAP Authentication Patch:
Information Technology will be updating all certificates that allow for Campus Network Authentication to each system on campus.
Patching will begin Friday, April 28th at 5:00 PM with full service being restored to all systems by 10:00 PM. Due to the nature of this patch, each system that authenticates with your Campus Network Login (username: firstlastname or FirstInitialLastName) will experience intermittent outages rather than being unavailable the entire window.
