Technology Notification –
We are pleased to announce that Camtasia version 9.0.1 is now available for install from the Software Center. This release is not mandatory and the previous version, Camtasia Studio 8.6.0, is also still available in the Software Center.
The interface has changed from 8.6.0 to 9.0.1. Please refer to https://support.techsmith.com/hc/en-us/articles/227109847–Camtasia-8-to-9-Where-is-it-now- for more information. Please note that the option to share to Google Drive currently is not working and will crash the application if selected. We are working with TechSmith support to resolve this issue.
The Camtasia installer in the Software Center is only available to GRCC issued computers running Windows. If you have a GRCC issued Mac or you have a personal device that you would like the software installed on, please contact IT Customer Support (http://grcc.edu/informationtechnology/customersupport) for assistance. Camtasia 8.6.0 and 9.0.1 will both be available via the Software Center through May 3, 2017, at which point all GRCC issued computers running Windows with Camtasia 8.6.0 installed will automatically be updated to Camtasia 9.0.1.
