Technology Notification –
On Friday, October 24th the IT Desktop Support Team will be migrating all GRCC workstations to a new Endpoint (Anti-virus / Spyware) Client. This will happen in the background and should have no effect on your daily operations. All GRCC workstations are expected to be migrated by the end of November.
With this migration staff and faculty will gain the ability to control the scheduled time that their workstations conduct virus scans. It may be a few weeks before these settings are fully in effect on your workstation. So, if you don’t notice any change starting on Friday don’t worry you are still protected and will gain these controls in time. Please contact us at ITHELP if you have any questions about this transition or need any help with your Endpoint Client.
If you receive a virus alert from this system IT Customer Support will be notified immediately by the system, but please do give us a call at 234-HELP(4357) so that we can let you know if there is any actions you need to take to keep your workstation and the GRCC network safe.
