As part of the IT department’s continual improvement process, we will be upgrading storage space for all J: drives on the network.
Migration to the new J: drives will begin on November 6th and will take several days to complete. All moves will run after business hours from 10:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.
Files will be copied from the old J: drive location to the new storage location. If you have shortcuts on your Desktop to your J: drive they may break and you would have to recreate those links.
During the nightly copy process, it is important to make sure you have logged off and turned off your computer each night in order to make sure your data is copied. This will facilitate accessing your new drive location when you login at the beginning of the next day.
