IT Technology Issue Followup ~Periodic Student printing issues from 5-25-2011

Technology Issue Notice: At two separate instances during the day (5-25-2011), individuals with student Novell accounts were able to begin the printing process, but when they swiped their Raidercard at a Canon printer, no jobs were available. (The issue also appeared to cause issues with some staff accounts as well)

Disturbance Resolution Details: Engineers were able to trace back the issue to a script that runs when the individuals first logs into a campus computer. Changes were made to attempt to resolve the problem. Printing will be monitored to ensure that the resolution was successful.
