Technology Issue Notice: Due to email system stability issues, the GroupWise system has had to be restarted.

Issue Summary: Starting Thursday morning, the GroupWise email system began experiencing stability issues resulting in application freezes and crashes.
Estimated Time of Resolution: Approximately 15-20 minutes to restart system.

If you receive any e-mail messages from an unknown AOL user please automatically delete these messages from both your inbox and you trash bin. This is a malicious e-mail attempt that may contain a virus.

Both PeopleSoft and GroupWise Web Access will be unavailable tonight, Wednesday night (September 15, 2010) from 10:00 p.m. 11:00 p.m. as the IT department performs maintenance on these systems.

Resolved: IT- Technology Issue~ Slow Delivery of PDF’s from MFP and off campus e-mail (09/13/10 2:00 PM)

Technology Issue Notice:
PDF’s and email from multifunction printers, as well as email sent to off site addresses is being delayed by 10-15 minutes.
Messages are being delivered, they are just delayed.

Resolution Details: Incoming and outgoing email was delayed while our servers were handling bulk email volume exceeding the normal amount of traffic. Printers are gradually being migrated to a new outgoing mail server which is not be impacted by high volumes of outgoing mail.
