Scheduled Maintenance: RaiderCard system upgrade

RaiderCard system Update / Service Outage

The RaiderCard system is being upgraded to better serve students and to comply with new security regulations, and as a result it will be out of service from 6:00PM Thursday, June 17, 2010 until 12:00AM on Saturday, June 19, 2010.

How will this down time impact students?
Student parking will be free during the down time. Student printing will still be available. All campus restaurants, Bookstore and departments will NOT accept the RaiderCards as method of payment during down time. RaiderCard Machines, copy and vending readers will also NOT accept RaiderCards. The RaiderCard tab on Blackboard will be disabled. Students will not be able to make payments with their RaiderCards in the Cashier’s Office. No new RaiderCards will be issued during the down time.

Technology Issue Notice: Scheduled FSPROD maintenance at 12 Noon.
Issue Summary: In an attempt to resolve known performance issues in FSPROD, IT will be restarting PeopleSoft Financial services at Noon today. (6-7-2010)
Estimated Time of Resolution: FSPROD services should become available within 45 minutes to an hour. During this time, FSPROD will be unavailable.

Temporary Workaround: Detailed instructions of current workaround, or type “None at this time” if the issue is still being investigated. [X] Work is in progress to find a solution for this issue

IT Informational Notification: Scheduled Maintenance – Zen Server Patching

On Thursday, June 10th, IT will be patching one of the Zen management servers. (Network authentication) This change is taking place to fully support future versions of Windows.

IT system imaging will be unavailable at various points of this maintenance window, This work should have no visible impact on students.
